The weather in western North Carolina has been freakishly beautiful all week, and according to The Weather Channel we'll get to enjoy this for another week to come. What a treat. I LOVE IT. March can be a snowy month in this area, so about the time we get used to temps in the 60s, the rug of springtime delight may get yanked out from under us. But who knows, maybe we'll get lucky this year. Either way, it's beautiful now, and I'm enjoying every second of it. After months of cold, gray, dreary weather, the warm rays of the sun make me want to play hooky from work and bask like a lizard. Or roll around in sunshiny joy, like Lucy.
Lady, whose personal mission in life is to watch over and take care of everyone in the family, can only stand this rolling and convulsing for so long before checking in.

Maybe that groundhog critter was right for once?? But we know it won't last either...it's going to be in the 70s here but I'm totally expecting it to snow before it's all over with. We can dream, right?? Hope to see your flowers!!
ReplyDeleteI know! I woke up this morning to sunshine streaming in the windows, snow melting outside and a weatherman predicting 60 degree temps!! Utterly unprecidented weather, but I ain't complaining!
ReplyDeleteAdorable photos, by the way!
Such wonderful photos of lovely Lucy! The sunshine makes her act like ours do when they are, ahem, all hopped up on catnip! LOL
ReplyDeleteLucy looks how I feel about this nice weather. We've even had some good weather here in Chicago, to melt our blizzaster, but I'm hoping this isn't just a weather trap.
ReplyDeleteThat weather would make us do flips too, BOL

Love Lucy's acrobatics! Our cows spent the day stretched out on their sides, working on their tans.
ReplyDeleteLucy is really enjoying herself. You're so right about March. She can be a like a fickle lady and you never know what she'll bring. I'm staying tuned.

Sounds like we're all enjoying the great weather! I am giggling at the mental image of cows sunbathing. But obviously the creatures must enjoy it too - I know the bird songs have sure been happy these last few days.
