Lady saw her shadow.
Lucy saw her shadow too.
And Lucky saw his shadow.
Hmm. This is not good news. According to tradition, if the groundhog sees his shadow, he'll be scared and scramble back into his burrow - thus predicting six more weeks of winter. So friends, I guess this means we're in for six more weeks of winter. Never mind. Upon further reflection, I've decided that the only true authority on this matter is Punxsutawney Phil, the nation's official weather forecasting rodent. And Phil did NOT see his shadow today.
Go Phil!!
I prefer Phil's prediction, too!
ReplyDeleteWe are gong to have to side with Phil. BOL
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Maybe it just works the other way for domesticated animals?
ReplyDeleteI trust your animals...they're much more beautiful animals than that rodent!
ReplyDeleteNo Beau for ya'll??
ReplyDeleteI vote Beau Regard Lee!!!
Though both him and Phil did NOT see there shadows so SPRING! Though here in Atl, it was sleeting today.....
